I like that we get right into the action as soon as you start the game. The atmosphere is beyond creepy. Imagine just doing whatever and you decide to go home only to discover that the last bus came 10 minutes ago. You don't know what to do or where you are but you gotta do something to get home, only to soon learn that the only way out is death. I know you made this in one day but this is awesome. This is also an example of what happens when you trust a stranger. Especially in the middle of nowhere. I had fun playing this and I enjoyed getting all of the endings. Keep up the good work.
The game is short and the setting is quite dark. Still, I enjoyed the atmosphere, the lo-fi dialogue, and the various available endings. ALL ENDINGS HERE:
The timing is perfect for this game, I like watching Christmas lights in the city near me in the evenings. But at 19:00 I need to get on the bus back to my village and losing the last bus is a likely thing
Yet another banger, but this time, I had nowhere to run - literally!
I was surprised to see that this was made as an "experiment" in 1 day. Heck, I can barely come up with a decent scene or story beats in 1 day, yet you made a fully functional game - bravo on that! Loved the creepy vibes from the guy in the "bush" and the "driver". Overall, neat, short experience!
Best of luck with the future games and the "Fractured" series!
The Fields is a very short indie horror developed in 1 day, focused on making choices and achieving 1 of 3 endings.
Gameplay. read and make choices. thats it. its not a lot and it feels like this game could do more.
sounds: the game has a bit of ambient sounds and a little soundtrack in the background. i really liked the soundtrack because it has some tension, but i feel like it was too quiet.
Visuals: i really like the visuals. it looks like most indie games but at the same time a bit different. its has a pixel art style mixed with kinda lowpoly models? i like it thats what i know.it has atmosphere.
Story: very simple and to the point. you are waiting for your bus lol.
for a game made in 1 day it has a very good attention to detail and i feel like almost all the best choices were made for this short development.i like how you can barely spot the man in the bushes, you can interact a little bit, it has voice acting, you can choose what to do and that it has a cool intense soundtrack. i give a 9.5\10.

Good but very short

Hell of a price to pay for being 10 minutes late for the bus, and the entire atmosphere is incredibly creepy.
Excellent game. Impressive
Ending 1 screams describe everything.
Nicely made game for just working on it for 1 day. It's a nice illustration of "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't" Keep it up.

Good game
Great game for being made in a day, found a few of the things I had to do confusing, loved the twist of ending 2.
